Well for the founding member of the E Street Band and former drummer, Vini Lopez thinks that is great! Vini Lopez says he is living the dream. When Vini Lopez spoke with ESPN Reporter Ian O’Connor he stated that he was dismissed 38 years ago from Bruce Springsteen because “I did not blindly follow Bruce”. Vini was told “Your out” in 1974 by Springsteen before the release of “Born to Run” that made Springsteen famous.
Vini Lopez will be caddie for 39 year old club pro and New Jersy native Mark McCormick. Mark just recently qualified for next weeks US Open.
Vini Lopez stated that he still works at local clubs ad holds o grudges. I fact Lopez stated that Springsteen is “still my friend. He is an upstanding guy ad even asked my to play with him”.
Vini Lopez is so pleased with Mark McCormick as a boss. Lopez said “there is nothing like watching Mark hit a great shot and putt like a demon and qualify for the open. That’s my dream”.
